Olive Branch MS is located in the northeast portion of Desoto County and is less than 5 miles from Memphis, TN. The 2007 population was estimated to be around 31,000 which makes it the 2nd largest city in Desoto County and the 9th largest city in the state of Mississippi. Olive Branch was founded near the location of a Chickasaw Indian trails crossroad and was incorporated in 1874. It is goverened by a Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

Olive Branch has a great park system which includes the Olive Branch Soccer Complex. The soccer complex is located near the corner of Church Rd. and Highway 305. It has 5 lighted fields, a pavillion and a lake. For more information about this and other Olive Branch parks, visit the Olive Branch official website. There is a section of Olive Branch referred to as "Old Towne". This is where you will find events like Classic Car Shows, Flea Markets and Live Music Shows. In addition to these community events, Old Towne is the site of many local businesses and retail shops.
