The school system in Tate County is divided into the Senatobia municipal schools and the Tate County schools. SENATOBIA SCHOOLS The Senatobia school system consists of Senatobia Elementary (K-2), Senatobia Middle (3-6),Senatobia Jr./Senior High (7-12). In Coldwater, there is Coldwater Elementary (K-6) and Coldwater High School (7-12). In the eastern portion of the county, there is East Tate Elementary (K-4), Independence Middle School (5-6) and Independence High School (7-12). The Northwest MS Community College consists of a 251-acre main campus in Senatoba and 3 other campuses (Desoto Center-Southaven, Olive Branch, and Oxford).
